Develop a map marking traveling web application -- 2

Job Description:

Introduction

A web application to which people can mark the places they’ve travelled to before (e.g., On Google Maps or any other kind of map, the places which have been travelled to can show a different colour or have a special mark).

Application Idea

The purposes of the app can be included:

1. Personal record-keeping: Some people like to keep track of where they have been for their own personal reference or to look back on their travels later in life.

2. Memory preservation: Recording the places visited can help preserve memories of the sights, sounds, and experiences encountered during the trip. (Cloud tech can be used here. Save photos/videos in the (google) cloud.)

3. Planning future trips: Keeping track of the places visited can help in planning future trips by providing a reference for places that have already been explored and areas that still need to be discovered. (Find other users with similar travel preferences in the cloud, recommend future trips, or add friends to plan trips together).

Overall, recording the places that have travelled to can be a fun and useful way to keep track of experiences and plan for future adventures.

PS: The application should be cloud-savvy and leverage cloud technology to store users' information.

Features

Planned features of the application (open to discussion):

1. Map Integration: The app should have a map integration feature that displays the user’s current location, and the places they have visited (and probably the places users plan to visit).

2. Customization Markers: Users should be able to add custom markers to their visited locations. For example, a user may want to add different colours for a place they have visited.

3. Log-in: this feature ensures the security of the user’s data by providing secure login and password protection.

4. Archiving: This feature allows the software to archive photos/videos/experiences into the appropriate cloud.

Social Sharing: The app should allow users to share their visited locations on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Scenic spot recommendation: Make recommendations for attractions (and even travel routes) based on the destination the users plan to travel to.
