Creating a prototype of hooks for watching a specific file's actions and modification and opening and closing.
- Create hooks for:
-when a file/folder is opened
-when a file/folder is closed
-when a file/folder is modified
- For each hook, a msgbox box should appear with a different msg for different hooks.
- Repeat above implementation in 6 ways:
(1) For all files in file system.
(2) For files with particular extension only, such as .txt files.
(3) For a particular file in a particular location only.
(4) For all folders in file system.
(5) For a particular folder in a particular location only.
(6) For all files/folders in a particular location.
- Implementing this more efficiently as compared to repeated watch on file over and over is important in order to conserve CPU cycles.
Although u can use source codes from other libraries in your project, however, please try avoiding use of too many DLL files. Instead of DLL files, use the source code to build the same functionality as those DLL files.
This project is for a trusted client. No payments or milestones will be created until the project is completed and tested by the client, and until the client is happy. If this project is successful, then you will be rehired again for a bigger project, if you are available.
