Looking for expert in Neovim and familiar with built-in LSP and using JavaScript/TypeScript

Job Description:
I'm using Neovim for a JavaScript project, but the tsserver LSP only supports TypeScript. So I need to convert my JavaScript project to TypeScript.
I don't need anyone to convert it for me, but I'm having several problems with error messages that require me to change my configuration settings.
I need someone I can ask questions to to help me troubleshoot some of the problems I'm having.
For example, I'm getting the error "cannot find document. Do you need to change your target library" when I use this code:
const body = [login to view URL]('body')[0]
When researching that error, I see I need to change settings in my tsconfig file, but when creating one in my project directory it produces a lot more errors. So I need someone I can talk to to help me figure out what to do to start the process of converting my JavaScript to TypeScript.
Or even better would be if someone can help me figure out how to disable the strict requirements, so I can use regular JavaScript with Neovim.
