Simple modification of a free Wordpress-Plugin

Hey guys!
I wanna show only the first 5 (or whatever number I set) comments in Wordpress. The rest should be loaded from the server by a click (important, because they shouldn't be just hidden through CSS etc.).
I know that's a pagination-function in Wordpress in the settings, but that's not what I want for different reasons.
The good news: There's already a plugin, which does that! It's called "Lazy Load for Comments".
There are two things I need here:
1.) The mentioned plugin hides ALL comments by default. But I wanna show for example 5 comments by default and only the rest should be loaded on click.
2.) The plugin has other functions I don't need. Because I like dont' t like to install a new plugin for every small functions I'd need you to strip out all the unessary code, so it does only the mentioned function. I'd prefer it to be just a PHP-code, which I put in my funtions.php.
3.) The "Load More"-button should have a CSS-class so I can style it.
You'll get a staging-environent from me including the login, where you can test it.
