Databases status showing as Not Synchronizing/Recovery Pending in SQL Server AlwaysON Primary Replica 1st Node
I have recently come across an issue that, one of my AlwaysON Primary Replica databases are went into “NOT SYNCHRONIZED and RECOVERY PENDING” state. It is a geo cluster AlwaysON with 2+1 nodes configured in asynchronous mode.
In 3 nodes cluster, 2 nodes are running on the primary replica (Primary Site) using shared storage and one node is running on secondary replica (Dr. Site).
All the database are in synchronized state when they run from 2nd node from the primary replica.
The issue is when the database moved to the 1st node from the primary replica, status changed to Not Synchronizing/Recovery Pending on the primary as well as on the secondary replica.
in the attached image, Database PRD and TST are the member of AG group. And both the databases are in Not Synchronization state
