run a node js script when a payment is made from woocommerce

I have a script written in node js which pulls API data from various sources and then generates a text file from it, based on a text input.
What I want to be able to do is provide a “product” with WooCommerce where a buyer provides a text input at the point of buying the product, and this input is fed to the node script and the report is then generated for the buyer to access.
