need webpage changed to be dynamic/ajax - repost

I attached a sample of the webpage I need modified.
Currently to change something like the timezone or frequency you must make the
change and then scroll down to the bottom and click save changes.
I would like the webpage modified so that when a change is made it automatically
saves the change made in realtime async via an ajax request as each change
is made.
The backend is written in Perl/Catalyst and template toolkit.
Please specify your experience with perl and/or catalyst.
Automatic bids that do not specify their experience with perl or include the name
of the fruit mention in the zip file will be deleted.
