Microsoft DRM10 System What is being requested is a fully functional, turn-key system to encrypt albums with Windows Media DRM10. As this is turn-key, the process to encrypt the files, the storing of the keys in a secure database, as well as the license server setup to serve licenses to authenticated users all need completion. I have attached a zip containing short clips from Microsoft explaining, visually, each step that is required. Please have a look at these for a good overview, or simply read on: A more detailed overview of the process and what's needed: The Windows License server holds and serves license keys, once user's have authenticated and their purchased item verified. The system will allow the type of encryption needs to be chosen (subscription, which encrypts all content the same or purchase, where each title has a different encryption), content is then encrypted using Windows DRM10, the encryption key stored in the Microsoft Licensing server database. User plays file Small pop-up window will appear within WMP before the file is played, prompt user to enter "Username" and "Password", then it will connect to an user database on a remote server to check the authentication before license delivery. File plays I have the Microsoft SDK and example apps already, and will send it to the winning bidder to begin work. As we have discussed, a fully functional system similar to [url removed, login to view], setup with Windows Server 2003 with database and customer licensing must be completed. The timeline is 30 days for this project.
