We are developing an application that displays charts & graphics. We want the output of this app. to be displayed in a PowerPoint slide. In other words we want our EXE to be a server to PowerPoint. The app is written in C++/MFC. We understand we need to use OLE Automation for PowerPoint to be able to call us. We want the user to be able to include one of our chart files into a PPT slide by clicking on "Insert / Object" from the menu. We also want the user to be able to interact with our application (for example, moving the chart objects), from within the PPT slide. All we need is the bare minimum code necessary to illustrate how an app can be invoked from PPT. We do not want to use PPT scripts to call the app.
