We are looking to completely overhaul our website from the ground up. Basic content from the joomla site can be copied, but the emphasis now is on a sleek, high speed site.
The website URL: [url removed, login to view]
More detailed information:
The new environment is going to be on Amazon's Web Services.
Work to be done as part of this project that can be split up, but as coders using the typical Linux server environment have overlapping skills for all of these jobs, they are listed together here:
1. Set up and configure IMAP server to correctly work with mail client.
2. Set up DNS servers in the Amazon environment to handle the switch to a new environment, with explanations as to how this was done.
3. Create a new design for the website minus the ecommerce component
**4. Set up the ecommerce component to work similarly to the cart on the website now, integrating with [url removed, login to view] and a CMS of some sort for uploading data--this can be a third party, open source cart. Ideally uploaded fabric and information will be ported as part of this task from the current joomla/virtuemart/mySQL solution.
As part of this, an invoice system must be in place to allow certain classes of customers to buy on a predefined amount of credit, and all invoices from orders should be able to be loaded and printed at the end of the month to simplify administration of our business. Users that sign up on the site will not have this ability, the administrator should be able to set this on their
Measurements and Styles input by the user should be stored in the mySQL database during each purchase. Users should be able to refer to their stored measurements, styles, and previous orders from their account pages, and be able to load measurements/style information into their order form. An updated list of style options will be used with this project, as well as an updated list of measurements.
**marks the main portion of the project
Bidders should post which jobs they are including in their bids, as parts of the project may be separated out to allow for more than one team to work on the new site.
