I am looking for a complete web site similar in function to [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] , [url removed, login to view] , and [url removed, login to view] . Specifically I want all of the features of [url removed, login to view] plus what is described below. This web site will be used for markets other than computer parts so it must be customizable.
It will support indexing, searching, and ranking of products by name, manufacturer, description, categories, and keywords. There will be facilities for manual entry of prices and information by administrators, as well as the ability to assign login information to vendors so that they can update their own prices in the database. The ability to manage banner ads, of both standard and non-standard sizes, but not pop-up ads, on search pages based on the category or keywords being viewed is required.
The web site must allow for Retailers, both those with and without login accounts, to be assigned inclusion levels detailing how informative their entries and links will be. These will range from levels that provide only the vendor name, product name, and price on their search results up to levels that provide the vendor name, a link to their site, a direct purchase link, item price, estimated shipping, customer rating, etc, and everything in between.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done, including binaries and web content.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
The platform to run this solution is flexible. The server software required can include any free open source products. The site must perform properly and consistently in all modern graphical browsers, including current versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, and Opera, and must be at least minimally usable in non-graphical browsers such as W3C and Lynx.
