I have used xoops quite a bit and it has all of the functionality I need.... EXCEPT it's designed to run 1 portal. I want to be able to run multible meeting sites for multiple groups, in a private (intranet) environment so only members can see most of the sections (couple of public areas too... but mostly private). Similar in concept to [url removed, login to view] - this is more focused on a particular group... but same idea... you can sign up your group and manage a bunch of features witin. I'm not married to xoops, if there are other CMS systems that you'd like to use, be my guest... I just can't affoard to have this coded from scratch, so I want to build on a base that's already there. So.... Each Private Meeting would have the following features: Set up an account, (free trial then monthly billing priced based on total # of users - probably 3 tiers ) Private Features Include: (these features are only available to members of the group) Message Boards: Polls: Download section: Calendar: News: Minute Maker: An easy to use web interface for keeping meeting minutes. (simple form) Photo Album: News Letter: Mailing List Server: 1 email address to mail all members in the group and/or lists for specific groups PUBLIC features (viewable by annonymous users) Search for your group: For Sale Pages: (no ecom... just text/photos) RSS Feed Headlines Blog: Links Page: All of these features can be managed by a comprehensive admin module, and you can assign additional moderators to any areas to help manage the site. Sound like a quick xoops site? does to me... the only thing I can't do is make it "multiple" so you can have multiple groups rather than just 1. Again, not married to xoops, it's just the CMS I'm most familliar with and that I know has basically all the modules I need... I'm sure it's not the only one though, mambo is also good?... drupal?...you tell me :) I look forward to your quotes. Riel

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
php / mysql... I'd consider .asp or others too... but again, budget is limited so I'm not running out to buy an oracle server or anything :)
