Hi! I am running a server for an ISP on a fedora core 3 box, the current server is about to go live and is responsible for the following services. 1) All web services for two domain names with subdomains (contained inside is critical information to user accounts and a backend administration site with sql administration) 2) Running APACHE 2 / Open SSL / PHP 5 / PRO FTPD / MYSQL 4.1.7 / XMAIL SERVER I require a check of seucrity for all ports / shell access etc and security strength of data on the sites. I will require some documents on the tests and there outcome. This list is a genreal guide to what I need to know and can be changed if you have a better solution. 1) Attempted hacks - succesful and not succesful, open ports that need to be closed and current security rating from 0 - 100 and security rating after audit 2) How to correct the security vulnerabilites and keep up to date 3) How security was tested In general I need to ensure the security of the server and attempt to ensure the server does not get exploited once I go live to my customers. In no way shall this exercise damage or hinder on the running of the server and would result in negative outcome on this bid if succesful Any questions let me know!
