I am the owner/director of a small but steadily growing manufacuting operation. We currently have 40+ employees, 10 of which are in admin/sales that will be using the system. We require a new computer system to administer and support the whole business. It must do the following: * Accounting - part of the business is involved in high volume invoicing for small sales orders and repair jobs. * Sales and costing - our main product line is complicated and variable with projects often exceed US$20,000. These projects are difficult to cost for and to do production planning properly, we require MRP. * Inventory - Stock manangement, reporting etc. * Purchasing - We buy the same materials from several different suppliers at varying prices depending on availablility and urgency. This needs to be reflected in the cost of the job. * Distribution - We have two geographically distinct factories out of which we can manufacture and dispatch for the same job. Technical requirements: * Integrated database for both distribution centers * Client application that runs in Windows XP Pro/2000
