General ------- I am looking to put up a personal site to act as an online resume and info page advertising my consulting services in ERP software technology. I am looking for someone to design a simple, clean, easy to navigate, and attractive site for this purpose using PHP. I need this to look professional and creative. My inspiration to create this site came from a similar site, www.sparkpath.com. In essence the design template will include: 1) Consistent header and footer across all pages 2) Tabs as separators used for multiple pages 3) Professional looking images and icons (ex. arrows and bullet points icons) 4) A search field on the main page 5) A search functionality where users can search issues using keywords Color Scheme: Centered web site with light blue colored side margins. Text can be dark grey and hilighted text can be dark orange. Color themes throughout should be light blue, dark navy blue, dark orange, dark grey, and white. Specifics --------- 1) a “Home?? tab to a page with a description about my consulting services and a panel displaying snapshots of articles I’ve written, 2) an “About Me?? tab to a page with my bio and web resume, recommendations, links to presentations, documents, etc. 3) a “Services?? tab to a page where I will describe the consulting services I can provide and other related info. 4) an “Issues/Solutions?? tab to a page where users can search for solutions using keywords. A server-side perl or ksh script will search within a directory of text files based on the keywords, returning the top 5 “strongest?? results. Links to these top five files should be displayed, enabling the files to open in a separate window when clicked. Furthermore, the first 200 characters of each file (in small font) should be displayed beneath each link. 5) a “Contact?? tab to a page where I can display my contact info. Platform: Viewable in all commonly used browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, and Safari.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
