Job Description:
Here's the proposal for adding a review feature to my site:
On my product pages, customers can give a 1-5 star rating, a name, and a written review (up to 500 words).
Once submitted, I will be notified of review the submission.
There will be a page where I can approve or deny the review.
If the review is approved, it will appear on the product page, and update the average rating, shown as 1-5 stars. For example, 3.5 would show as 3 1/2 stars.
If the review is denied, it will just be stored and not appear on the product page.
I have a development site that we will provide complete access to. You are only responsible for making the review process work on the development site.
I am experienced working with contractors, and I will no keep adding features without agreeing to pay you extra for them. My regular webpage guy may ask you questions so he understands how you set everything up, as he will be moving it into production, so you don't have to worry about doing that.
There is a MySQL back-end you can use. Make sure that any included database queries use prepared statements.
After the initial quote I will provide access so you code to verify that there's no issues before you commit to the project.
