Build an Instant Offer Website for Selling Cars

We want to build an interactive form for selling cars that will provide a customer with an estimate for their vehicle depending on answers to their questions.

Peddle offers the perfect example of features we are searching for.

We will be thrilled if we can get a form that functions as close to what they have.

We need the following:

1. A Frontend.

This is where the customer will respond to questions about the vehicle they are wanting to sell. We want capabilities like Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decoding (Decoding will allow us to pull year, make and model of a car based on provided VIN) and instant Zip Code lookups to make it easier for customers to fill out the form. (Take a look at the Peddle form on [login to view URL] to get a better idea of the features we are looking for.) After filling out the form, the customer will be given an estimate for their car. The car estimate will be calculated by pulling averaged values from an API and the averaged value will be altered based on the responses the customer provided about their car throughout the form. The customer will then have the option to accept the offer at the end of the form. If they accept the offer, we will then collect information about the customer, have them upload photos of their vehicle, and upload photos of the car's title paperwork. They will then get to schedule a time to have their vehicle picked up via a tow truck at the customer's provided address. (An API will be used to determine the availability of tow truck drivers around the customer's location.)

2. A Backend

We will also need a backend to review the vehicles submitted through this form. We should have the option to accept or reject vehicles that are submitted through the form. There should also be an area for us to communicate with each customer. We will need to have the ability to send a counteroffer if the form gives the customer a lower projected offer than what we were expecting.

3. Customer Portal

The customer will need a log-in area to view their vehicle submissions, as well as a place to talk with us about their submissions and send us car photos and title paperwork. They will also be able to change the pickup date/location of their vehicle. On the day of their pickup, the customer will need to be able to log in and view tow truck location updates (provided by API).
