Create Magento Shipping Extension

Magento Shipping Extension

I need someone who is an expert with creating Magento extensions. This has to be a true extension if at all possible. If core files need to be changed I need to know before I choose you for this project. I prefer you build the extension on a demo site and then just provide me with the extension to install.

I can provide you with the Flooring Extension I have that may need to get customized and definitely needs to get tested with the shipping extension.

*IMPORTANT*

I need someone who works from the same IP address every day because if you need to access FTP I need to whitelist your IP with our hosting company.

Part # 1

I need to have a shipping extension built for Magento. The extension has to work on both the front end and in the admin checkout. It also needs to be flexible with multi stores. I am using Magento version 1.9.2.4 and so it needs to be compatible with that version. I have tried a few extensions that are already built but none worked. It may have to do with another extension I have installed but I am not sure. It is a flooring extension and the link is here: [url removed, login to view]

The main calculation needs to be the following but I do need it to be flexible:

1. Total Cart Weight is 150 lbs or less then shipping needs to be calculated by UPS.

2. If Total Cart Weight is more than 150 lbs and the Subtotal Dollar Amount is under $2500 then the shipping amount would be $149.00.

3. If the Subtotal Dollar Amount is $2500 or more then shipping would be FREE.

I would need all of these numbers to be able to be changed.

On the two extensions I installed they would have worked out great but I was having issues with UPS. For some reason UPS would not work using those extensions. And when I get UPS to work with or without those extensions it only calculates based on the minimum amount UPS charges. I believe the total weight is not getting calculated properly or UPS is not calculating off the weight in the cart. So no matter what quantity of flooring you put in the UPS price is always the same and it should change based on the number of cartons.

Part # 2

The second part of it is adding in an option for Lift Gate Service. This needs to be an option that the customer can pick if they choose to. I need the amount to be editable. I would start with the amount to be $75.00. This needs to be added in to the totals and made sure to be passed to the checkout process and to the credit card processor totals. This also needs to be available on the front end checkout and in the admin checkout.
