Looking for a reliable, experienced programmer with an honest and professional work ethic to help finish developing in-progress responsive e-commerce website in Wordpress. The site is designed; we just need the programming. Previous programmer started setting it up but there is still quite a bit of work to do, which I am breaking up into phases. The products in the site are controlled by an Excel spreadsheet that is directly uploaded to Wordpress. This project consists of the following work:
1- Fine-tune look of existing product thumbnail pages including correcting page numbering system and changing arrows on "Sort By" dropdown menu from blue to black. "Sort By" dropdown must also function correctly for "New Arrivals" and "Special Deals" options.
2-Add 2 links to side navigation menu.
3-Program 1 simple information-based page with 2 images.
4-Program product detail pages. The page design features an image that can be either clicked or moused over to enlarge. There is also a product description and an area where the customer can choose product size options to add to the shopping cart. At the bottom of this page is a "Recommended items" area where 3 images of other products will show up, controlled by my spreadsheet.
5-Integrate some kind of image security system/plug-in to lessen ability of people to steal my images
6-Add Search function to website. This function should scan description and title of each product in my spreadsheet and return the search results based on that, mirroring the look of the product thumbnail pages.
Please note that there are two versions each of the product thumbnail pages and product detail pages. Programmer must test all above work so it looks great on all major browsers on computers as well as on phones. Also, this project absolutely must be done in a timely manner. Would like to establish on-going working relationship with the right programmer for future updates and additions to the site. We will still need the shopping cart system, checkout pages, Gift Certificate page, blog and a few other things done before site can go "live".
Wanted to mention that the shopping cart area of the site will be run by the Woocommerce plug-in. So the programmer must be familiar with Woocommerce.
