We are a private tuition company that currently employs 120+ tutors who work autonomously and currently log their hours online. As we continue to expand we are looking to develop an iPhone app and online portal that will provide a gateway for our tutors to log their sessions, remind them of upcoming sessions and follow up on sessions they haven’t logged.
The basic functionality of the app and portal will be:
Login with username and password (we can use buddypress to generate these)
A schedule showing them their next sessions with their students.
The ability to confirm that the session has happened - this data then needs to be fed back to us somehow. We currently use Zoho CRM to receive this data, but we are open to any recommendations.
If they do not confirm the session has occurred, then an automated reminder should be sent (through push notification or email) 24 hours after the session time.
A display of past sessions up to a month.
The ability to log additional hours.
The ability to request another tutor to cover the sessions if the tutor is unavailable.
We will work closely with you to ensure the project meets all our requirements. We are open to customising any existing plugins that would be ideal, or building from scratch.
