"Seeking an experienced Python developer to assist in the development of a script that calculates direct sunlight hours based on vegetation and geographic position. This project involves analyzing LiDAR data (.laz files) to determine the presence of vegetation and its impact on the amount of direct sunlight received at a specific location throughout the year.

The project's key objectives include:

Processing and analyzing .laz files to identify vegetation data and other relevant points.

Developing a Python script that calculates the start and end times of direct sunlight for each day of the year, taking into account the presence of vegetation and its impact on sunlight availability.

Generating a .csv file containing the calculated start and end times of direct sunlight for each day of the year.

Ensuring the script provides progress updates throughout its execution, indicating the calculation status for each day.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python programming and experience working with LiDAR data, specifically .laz files. Familiarity with relevant libraries, such as PyLAZ, PDAL, and PySolar, is highly desirable.
