Seeking a developer to come up to speed with an existing system built on Django/Python/PostgreSQL for the purpose of fixing bugs, optimizing its performance, and extending / enhancing it.
A proven software development background is required, especially with experience in designing, creating, and reshaping new systems. Candidate should have strong full-stack implementation skills -- writing clean, readable, rock-solid code. The focus will be on the backend in the immediate term, but front-end skills will be helpful as we improve the system.
The system has been recently moved to Amazon ECS from Heroku, so familiarity with AWS is important.
The developer will work closely with SnapDoor's CTO, especially as they come up to speed, so an overlap of at least 4 hours within 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time is required.
