This is a bit ambiguous for me to describe since I’m not versed in fashion — but, here goes-ski:
I want to create 4 articles of clothing along with the packaging concepts — for a “fake” clothing brand.
They’re based on a funny joke or premise of mine.
In a way, it’s akin to “defictionalization” — like when Nike produced those self-lacing sneakers featured in the movie “Back to the Future,” but like 15 years later.
CONTEXT: I often create humorous stuff for my social feeds. Often the humor is based in satire. With this project, I want to parody fashion by creating a fashion line for monsters.
The goal is to create fashion branding as if these products actually existed in the real world.
Budget is $800:
All will feature my “Monster Chux” logo the way other brands — from Gucci to Nike — feature their logos in all garb.
If we decide to move forward with the project I’ll include more color and detail about what each item is about.
