I am assisting a church with installing a shipping container as storage City officials require a drawing showing permanent ground attachment Drawing needs to include the following information:
[login to view URL] name, contact information, and credentials (preferably with some sort of official seal) indicating that you are some sort of certified anchor system design architect. I think that this should be enough to satisfy the reviewing official.
[login to view URL] drawing of a standard hi-top shipping container 8’x40’x9.5’ showing ground anchors at each of the 4 corners. Attached image for your use.
3.A close up detail showing the anchors in the ground and attached to the shipping container. The attachment needs to state that it can be attached via steel bolts or steel cable. I have attached below a bitmap image of one of the anchors for your use.
4.A written description of the anchoring system. I think the following will be adequate just copy and paste it into your drawing. “Anchor 48" overall length with 5/8" Rod and 6" helix. Anchors may be further secured by adding concrete cap 6-12” in depth which will provide additional securing strength and may be used at the discretion of the installer or customer.”
5.A reference to the federal standard which applies to this project. I think the following language will also be adequate just copy and paste it into your drawing.
“Manufactured anchors are tested to HUD regulation 3280 to withstand a total of 4725 lbs. each. Anchors selected meet all applicable standards for permanent anchoring of both shipping containers and manufactured housing.”

I can provide an architectural stamp in 49 states. Your description should provide the state you are located in. So... what state are you located in? Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Arizona, which state?
