SEO Director

We're small digital marketing agency who specialises in search marketing. We have a number of campaigns that need management.
We have an overarching strategy that an experienced SEO can execute without problems as well as adding their own insights.
As an SEO Lead, you will be responsible for managing all search engine optimization (SEO) activities. You will work towards increasing our client's organic search rankings and ensuring their web presence is optimized for maximum visibility.
You will coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing client SEO strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement successful SEO strategies
Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy
Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building)
Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns
Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
Lead and mentor SEO team members
Implement and manage tracking and reporting mechanisms to gauge SEO performance
Collaborate with other marketing teams to align SEO strategies with broader company goals
Work closely with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best practices
Monitor and analyze SEO statistics such as clicks, impressions, and conversions
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Manager, SEO Lead, or similar role
Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Experience with SEO reporting and monitoring tools
Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Screaming Frog,) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GSC)
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
