DESCRIPTION
Leisure Seeker company offers a travel and social club where members can try new things and meet new people. We organize trips and local events in select areas. We’re looking for Local Area Influencers - Freelancers to join our community and help us make fun happen! You’ll have the amazing opportunity to host fun local events, meet awesome new people, and have the freedom to choose your events. Our diverse event hosts include freelancers and adventure seekers like photographers, tour guides, travel experts, content creators, wellness coaches, foodie and restaurant experts, entertainers/comedians, artists, theme park enthusiasts and more! If it’s a fun event with a fun host where people can connect safely, we want to organize it! Some of our local events include classes (painting, cooking, yoga, etc.), walking tours, wine tastings, day trips, foodie tours, concerts and live performances, and more!
TASKS
Browse available events to host or propose your own
Engage and connect with members in the club via group discussions, event chat/comments
Promptly answer member questions/requests regarding your events
Research and stay up to date with local area venues and things to do
Efficiently use marketing tools such as social media to promote upcoming events
Communicate efficiently and professionally
Complete required tasks promptly and respond to all communications within 24-48 hours
Follow all company procedures and local regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Able to host and promote events for (1 or more areas below):
Central Florida: Tampa / Orlando / Clearwater / Cocoa area
South Florida: Miami / Boca Raton / West Palm Beach / Key West / Fort Myers area
Must enjoy meeting new people and able to make others feel at ease to enjoy the event
Knowledgeable about desired local area - venues, things to do
Take initiative to propose great events and optimize engagement
Engage with members about relevant local topics and upcoming events
Must work well independently (there is no supervision)
Be knowledgeable about efficient marketing tools such as social media
Marketing and sales: promote events to maximize attendance
Be able to host at least 1 event every 3 months (4 events per year)
COMPENSATION
This is an independent freelancer opportunity. Pay is in the $20-60/hr range, depending on the event.

This is an independent freelancer opportunity. You choose your schedule and what events you want to host.
