QA Automation Engineer / Tester
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute test plans and automated test scripts against defined requirements
• 5+ years’ experience with SDLC activities, to include experience performing multiple types of testing (Smoke, System, Integration, Performance, Functional, UAT, Regression)
• Report testing progress against planned activities and schedule
• Strong familiarity with QA industry best practices
• Identify, document, and manage defects through their lifecycle
• Ability to interface with Product and Development teams
• Perform black box testing to enforce the highest level of product quality
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an applicable field, or equivalent
• 5+ years’ prior experience as a QA tester supporting web based and client/server applications with experience writing detailed test plans and automated scripts
• 5+ years’ experience in an Agile development and testing environment
• Test experience in web-based testing (5+ years), automation testing (2+ years), functional testing (5+ years)
• 4+ years’ experience in JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, JavaScript, Selenium/Protractor, JMeter, Neo4J (cypher)
• Experience implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills as well as an attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments
