Job Description:
Boutique recruitment agency is seeking lead generators / telemarketers / (phone) appointment setters.
This will start out as an initial 2-hour test-run to gauge the quality and quantity of your work. Ultimately, this is a LONG-TERM PROJECT (several months to possibly/hopefully years) with an hourly pay of initially $5.00 per hour during the training period and $6.00 per hour thereafter plus discretionary bonuses, depending on your success of generating business.
Responsibilities for:
• Identify opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
• New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
• Manage the sales process to close new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
• Build the sales funnel generating leads via cold calling, emailing and other lead generation activities.
• Handle incoming queries and building good client relationships.
• Ensure all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements.
• Hand over qualified leads to the sales teams with the objective of closing the sale.
• Maintain and updating the lead generation database.
• Achieve weekly/monthly targets as set out by the business.
• Many of your calls will be made by you logging into a web-based auto-dialer application to make outbound marketing calls. The system dials one number after another for you and allows you to leave a pre-recorded message or send off a templated e-mail. This will save you a lot of time and will allow high productivity.
• Take notes of all your activities within the system.
• Training and an on-screen script will be provided.
Requirements / Ideal Candidate:
• At least 5 years experience within a Telesales, Inside Sales or Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) role.
• Experience covering Professional Services is strong plus.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
• Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills and an excellent command of the English language.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
• Strong networker & relationship builder
• Self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
