I have a 3 level home (lowest level is Basement). and I have a set of Blueprints from the original Architect. I wish to do some home renovations, so the first step is for me to get my existing Blueprints into an inexpensive, preferable open source (free) 3D modeling software so that I can make alterations. I like the SweetHome 3D Open Source software (google it) - or you can suggest another as long as it fits my criteria. I would like all walls, dimensions and texts entered as close to the original as possible. Note this is not for Professional use, only Personal...Although being able to give the file to a designer would be a plus. Thank you -John
