We are embarking on a website development project using Umbraco CMS to enhance our online presence and provide a seamless user experience. This project encompasses several key deliverables aimed at improving site structure, functionality, and aesthetics. Our goal is to create a dynamic website that caters to our three distinct business lines: spaces, teams, and enterprise, while also incorporating a real estate listings module, maintaining multibrand compatibility, and ensuring responsiveness across all devices. Below is a breakdown of the project deliverables:
Deliverables:
Creation of Staging Site:
- Duplicate the live website to a staging site for development and testing purposes.
Site Restructuring:
- Implement a silo structure to reorganize and categorize content according to our three business lines: spaces, teams, and enterprise.
- Update site navigation to reflect this restructuring, making it easier for users to find relevant content.
Real Estate Listings Module:
- Develop a robust real estate listings module, including both backend and frontend components.
- Migrate existing building and location content from the current site to the new listings module.
- Implement a backend form that auto-generates new pages based on provided information.
- Organize listings into three levels: City, Building, and Offices.
- Ensure automatic schema creation to enhance SEO and searchability.
Conversion of Figma Designs to Umbraco Templates:
- Create three homepages based on Figma UI designs.
- Design the website to be multibrand-friendly, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all brand variations.
Testing and Responsiveness:
- Thoroughly test the entire website for functionality, including links, forms, and interactive elements.
- Verify mobile responsiveness to guarantee optimal user experience on all devices.
Migration and Redirects:
- Migrate staging site and replace the current live website.
- Implement 301 redirects to ensure all old links are seamlessly redirected to their corresponding new addresses, preserving SEO rankings and user experience.
