We are looking for a stand-alone Prestshop IT solution, that via additional modules allows us to replace our current web site (a html BtoB shop) as well as invoicing / stock management solution (Sage). The software shall cover all necessary steps for our business and be functional, fast, low cost and low maintenance.
BioBio Productos Ecológicos is a small wholesaler for organic products in Spain (7 people). We buy mostly non-food organic products from European suppliers and resell them to shops and websites in Spain. Our clients place their orders via mail or our webpage ([login to view URL]) and may choose from roughly 1600 articles in the shop.
We do only sell to professional clients in Spain, not to the end consumer/user, which distinguishes us from most of the Prestashop users (only BtoB, no BtoC).
Today client orders are treated via a combination of our website and an invoicing software (Sage Factura+). These two platforms do however not communicate with each other, so that all orders (received via the web or email) need to be manually retyped into Factura +, which currently manages all the invoicing and also stock control.
In order to streamline our processes, we are looking for changing our website to a Prestashop platform that shall cover all processes from client orders, to picking, shipment, invoicing, control of payment, supply orders and stock management without the need for a full separate ERP.
