Hi there,
With the changing dynamics around the world in regards to restaurants opening and closing due to the pandemic, we want to launch a simple restaurant directory where restaurants in our area (Victoria BC) can list their places and info our readers how to order take/out delivery. We want to use Wordpress and we want our layout to look like this website:
[login to view URL] - it is very minimal but we like it, we're just looking to improve on it.
We love the layout of the above website and want ours to look similar with some changes. We are going to refer to the above URL as the sample site.
- The sample websites requires the restaurant owners/managers to email, we want restaurants to submit their info in a form and all we have to do is approve it.
The form will ask the following:
- logo
- Links to social media and website (those will display as icons on user viewing area)
- Quick summary of restaurant (for example: Offering Thai food and sandwiches)
- Select where people can order for delivery, we need the following options: Tutti, Door Dash, Skip the Dishes, Uber Eats. We need them to display as icons similar to sample website and they should be able to link to their listing on any of the food delivery services.
- Location (example: 3835 Main St, Vancouver, BC V6C 2R7)
For the display from the user end, we want our design to look like theirs with a few adjustments, their listings are centered, we want our on the left so the right side we can have widgets to show banner ads.
We also need pagination at the bottom so people can search, and eventually (not now) we are looking to categorize.
We love their header of the website and want ours to look the same with the search etc and it must be fast.
When people submit their listings, we want to have the ability to see them in the admin and approve, suspend etc... we also need them to input their email to their listing for admin purposes.
We are hoping to turn this project over fast. Please ask questions if you need any clarification and we are open to suggestions.
