My mother was a college English teacher in Texas, and she taught me well!
As Chief of Staff of a non-profit from 2000 to 2018, I wrote/edited grant proposals and won awards from the US EPA and FOUNDATIONS totaling more than $313,000 per year to run The Clean Air Academy which offers trainings to environmental staff.
Prior to this, I worked for the US EPA and the DANISH EPA writing technical and economic reports on various environmental projects.
Last year I completed an Executive Certificate from the Kennedy School, HARVARD UNIVERSITY, hold a MA in Political Science from DUKE UNIVERSITY, a First Part Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the UNIVERSITY OF AARHUS, Denmark, and a BA in Political Science, TRINITY UNIVERSITY, Texas.
I have been awarded a Merit Award from the Environmental Commissioners and a Quality Achievement Award from US EPA and started my career as a Presidential Management Fellow.
