Hello, I hope you are well on this lovely Friday, this is actually my very first bid on Freelancer! As a native Dutch speaker (33 years old, I was born and raised in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands and only moved out of the country a year ago), I couldn't help but apply to your job listing. Beyond my native fluency in the language, I bear some professional history of Dutch translation for numerous larger video games (Horizon Forbidden West and Grand Turismo 7, to name two) through my employment with Keywords Studios. I was the lead Dutch tester in a group assembled by Sony Entertainment and was on call to ensure all localization for the Dutch language was faultless and flawless. When it was not, it was up to me to offer the proper translations. This means that I developed a very keen and strict eye in regard to picking up on errors and finding the most natural patterns of speech. I would be thrilled to hear back from you and see if we could find some common ground and work on this project together. My rate is negotiable and I could start immediately, if needed.
